Designed for riders of every age, size, and experience level, including guests who prefer a gentler, more leisurely ride. No rushing. No pressure. Just you, your horse, and the Belizean countryside.
Jungle Discovery
1.5 HOUR · 🟢 ALL AGES · 🟡 CONFIDENT BEGINNER THRU INTERMEDIATE
Our most popular ride, and it’s easy to see why. This trail takes you through open fields, across a creek, and up into the jungle, where the canopy closes in and the adventure begins. Trotting and cantering are available for riders who want to open it up. A genuine explorer experience that works beautifully for first-timers and intermediate riders alike.
Jungle Adventure

Ready to go deeper? This ride is built for guests who are comfortable in the saddle and hungry for more rugged terrain. Older kids, teens, and adults who want an active, challenging ride through authentic jungle will find exactly what they’re looking for here. More elevation, more trail variation, more horse — and more satisfaction at the end.
Jungle Ride & Swim
3 – 4 HOURS · TEENS & ADULTS · BEGINNER THRU INTERMEDIATE
Dense jungle, then sparkling creek. This is the ride guests talk about for years. Two hours of adventurous trail — trotting and cantering through jungle and creek crossings — leads to a swim stop where you can cool off, relax, and soak it all in. Snacks and refreshments (think chips & salsa, local sodas and juices) are part of the experience.
Jungle Ride & Swim w Picnic
3 – 4 HOURS · TEENS & ADULTS · BEGINNER THRU INTERMEDIATE
Everything in the Jungle Ride & Swim — plus a proper sit-down lunch waiting for you riverside. Pre-ordered and ready on arrival, your picnic table is set at the creek’s edge as you emerge from the trail. Creek crossings, jungle canopy, a long swim, and a real meal. This is the one to book when you want the full afternoon.
Actun Balam Cave
3 – 4 HOURS · TEENS & ADULTS · BEGINNER THRU INTERMEDIATE
This is Green Acres at its most adventurous. Named for the ancient Maya site at its heart, the Actun Balam Expedition combines a challenging multi-terrain jungle ride with approximately 1.5 hours of cave exploration — emerging into cathedral chambers and crystal formations that few visitors ever see. Riders should be comfortable mounting and dismounting without a block and ready for varied, demanding terrain. A canopy picnic rounds out an extraordinary day.

Birthday Rides & Ranch Parties at Green Acres Ranch, Belize
Celebrate at Mile 36 on the Hummingbird Highway where the jungle is the backdrop, the horses are the guests of honor, and every moment is coordinated so you don’t have to think about a thing.
Our dedicated party coordinators guide your group through a fully programmed day — ride time on the jungle trails, lawn games (sack races, tug of war, volleyball, soccer, basketball, and our fan favorite Build-a-Hat), meal service from our ranch menu, and cake time at the end. You bring the cake, we handle everything else.
Age-appropriate packages are available for kids, teens, and adult groups. Rates are based on group size and age bracket — contact us to build your custom package.
